Quilting and Sewing Projects

A very amateur quilter and sewer, I experiment with color, design, and fabrics to create long lasting tokens of affection for my family and friends. Lately, I have been experimenting with printing images from Henry David Thoreau’s herbarium, and then creating pillows from them. This work is inspired, in part, by my current research project on the history of herbaria, in a project I am calling, “Information Ecologies.”
